I’m Hayley Mansell (née Fowler)
I’ve lived in Marlow all my life and I'm passionate about the pretty town on the Thames where I was born, where I grew up, went to school, married, had children, and still live - and I know it inside out. I love to get chatting about the Marlow of years gone by, its shops, pubs and characters! My mum's family were Marlovians, too, with my dad's from just along the river in Cookham...
I have a husband, grown-up identical-twin daughters, and
one ginger cat.
An award-winning journalist
Before training to be an independent celebrant, I worked in women’s magazines for 35 years. As an award-winning journalist, I helped real people tell their stories, and it never ceased to amaze me how wonderfully different people can be.
Today, I still have that passion for storytelling, and now use it to convey the story of your loved one’s life or help you celebrate - not just through beautifully crafted words, but through pictures, music, locations, belongings and so much more... Whatever floats your boat!
